Greeters Ministry

The Greeters Ministry is a group of great folks with smiles who stand at the front door of our sanctuary every Sunday morning before services. The Greeters are part of a wonderful ministry that serve both visitors and existing members of Covenant Community Church.

The Greeters give visitors a positive first impression of the fellowship at Covenant Community Church. Covenant Greeters will be the first person the visitor meets. Our Greeters will always show new folks that someone genuinely cares. The Greeter will be available to help with any questions or direct visitors to different ministries located in the church. This makes the Greeters ministry an instrumental part of our church's growth.

Greeters are also there to meet the members of Covenant at the door with a smile and offer them a bulletin containing the latest church news and activity information. This gets them ready for fellowship. It also reminds members that if they see a visitor, to welcome them and make them feel at home.

Usually you will see both a man and a woman greeter on Sunday morning to make everyone feel comfortable and at home. There are 16 greeters who make this ministry work. This allows us to have a different face at the door every week for an 8-week cycle.
