Pastor

Covenant
Meets a New Friend.
May
7th in the morning service, Dr. Mechel Kenmogne, executive
director of the Cameroon Association of Bile Translation
and Literary (CABTAL) visited Covenant. Dr Kenmogne,
husband and father of five children, is the recipient
of Scriptures translated into his own language as
a young man. It was when he read the Bible in his
own heart language that "God became Immanuel
to me," he told us.
The
elders have decide that to further our relationship
with CABTAL and to help promote Bible translation
in Cameroon and for the Pinyin specifically, Covenant
would become an associate member of CABTAL. As associate
members we will have more opportunities to actively
and personally spread God's fame. As of May 7th, we
have given over $1500 to give the Bible to the Pinyin.
Plans are underway now for a trip to visit the Pinyin
in January 2007.
