Celebrate
the Resurrection! The
celebration of the church and all believers is this month. That celebration is
the resurrection of Jesus Christ! Christmas
gets the money and the sentiment but the Resurrection got our freedom! For if
Christ had not been raised from the dead, we would still be in sin. The
popular message from the pulpits today is one of hope and encouragement which
certainly is within the Gospel. But what makes the difference between the news
of a resurrection and the good news of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ is that
He has paid the penalty of our sins and we now can be in a friendship with God
Himself. That is reason
to celebrate!
