Last
month the citizens of the Central area made the historic decision to incorporate
into a city. I understand that there is more to the process to make that final
but the voters spoke clearly. Regardless
of your personal vote or feelings about the changes ahead for us all, it is time
for everyone to work together. In fact, as I review the history of God’s
people given to us in the Bible, I see that we have always been good citizens.
We are called to good citizenship in Romans 13. I
encourage you to become involved in establishing this new government and corporate
entity. I think that the believers of Covenant Community Church would make great
mayors, council members, civic leaders, etc. We need leaders with a Biblical worldview,
a heart for others, and sound judgment. Pastor
