Why
I am Part of a Local Church
1.
It is the only organization God promised to build
2.
God intends for people who are different from one
another to be in unity with one another. And only
a church of people of different ages, social standings,
ethnicity, and backgrounds can be that.
3.
I need the friendships I have in my local church.
4.
I enjoy those I worship with. You can't go to Heaven
with people you can't go to church with.
5.
The church is its own community of people that are
redeemed by God. I like the company of the Redeemed!
6.
TV and radio preaching is good for a snack, but they
don't feed me full meals like live preaching.
7.
I can't worship God alone the way I can when I am
with others.
8.
The local church is a visible presentation of the
true Church.
9.
I'm not sure that I can walk consistently with God
without the local church.
10.
I know the leaders by name and by character.
