Jeff Stanfill, Lead Pastor

Jeff and Mary Ann Stanfill are bi-lingual – they speak Northern and Southern! Jeff is a native Louisianan and Mary Ann is from Ohio. After graduating from Central Bible College, their ministry background includes serving as youth pastors, associate pastors, denominational leadership with the Louisiana Assemblies of God, short-term missions, and the last 17 years as lead pastors of Covenant.

Mary Ann enjoys crafting, shopping, and any soup. Jeff is an avid reader that enjoys the outdoors and LSU football. But their real passion is to live a God-exalting, Christ-centered, and Spirit-filled life in relationship with others that desire the same.

Jeff and Mary Ann have one married son, and another that is an LSU student. Cats are prominently absent from their family.

Billy and Mandy 2

Billy Muller, Worship Leader

While praise and worship is my favorite thing to do in all the world, worship is closest to my heart. The joy and celebration of praise is wonderful, but I absolutely love the tender softness of worship. The chance to get really close to the Lord…… awesome!

I’ve lead worship for 10 years and had the privilege to play and sing in many different venues. Mandy and I met 11 years ago and have been married for 9. She is my best friend and I still haven’t figured out what I did to deserve her. Words cannot express how excited Mandy and I are to be with the wonderful people of Covenant Community Church. We are so blessed to be with like-minded people who LOVE to worship the Savior. We, as Christians (Christ-like), are the reflected light that shines bright in an ever darkening world. Onward and upward.

Gayle (2)Gayle Sullivan, Ministry Assistant

Gayle is from Denham Springs where she continues to live with her one “child,” a rescue pup named Gracie, and a roommate who happens to be her dad. She began serving as a ministry assistant in 1995, became a Certified Ministry Assistant with the Southern Baptist Convention in 1998, and she joined the Covenant Church staff in October of 1999.

Gayle enjoys listening to all styles of music, going to the movies and catching a few brim when the weather is right. She loves what she does in ministry and feels blessed to serve such a wonderful church family.
