The Second Coming of Christ The
second coming of Chist is the great anticipation of the Church. As Christians,
we should, with Paul, love to look for that "blessed hope and the glorious
appearing of the great God and our Savior jesus Christ." "...while
we wait for the blessed hope—the glorious appearing of our great God and
Savior, Jesus Christ..." (Titus 2:13)
His
coming is an incentive for holy living: "And now, little children, abide
in Him; that when He shall appear we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before
Him at His coming" (1 John 2:28). "Every man that hath this hope in
Him purifieth himself even as He is pure" (1 John 3:3). Continue |
