| A
High View of God | Our
individual and corporate life is guided by reverence and submission to a holy,
sovereign God who desires for us to have a personal relationship with Him. |
| Character | We
believe Christians are to possess biblical integrity and character. We believe
that our actions reveal our true character. |
| Spirit-Led
Worship | True
worship springs from a heart that is enjoying personal fellowship with God through
the Holy Spirit. Our worship is characterized by the free and spontaneous exercise
of the spiritual gifts under the leadership and anointing of the Holy Spirit.
Worship extends beyond the church boundaries and includes all we do. |
| Evangelism | We
understand it is a duty and priority of each believer to present the Gospel to
unbelievers. As a church,. we participate in local and global evangelism efforts. |
| Equipping
and Educating | Every
believer shall be educated and equipped to: - know,
apply, and defend our faith
- present
Jesus Christ to unbelievers
- lead
exemplary lives in the marketplace
- build
strong interpersonal relationships within the church, their families and their
community
- be
a good steward of all resources
- develop
a personal ministry
|
| Personal
Growth | Every
believer is to continue to grow into the image of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit
brings life change through learning God's truth, relating to God's people, and
experiencing God. |
| Family
Affirming | We
encourage strong family relationships. We seek to be a family to those who desire
to fellowship with us. |
| Relationally
Centered | Our
congregation is structured to have Christ-centered relationships characterized
by authenticity, accountability, and affirmation. Relationships are a primary
way of evangelizing. |
| Biblically
Faithful and Doctrinally Sound | We
are committed to the Bible as God's revelation of Himself. We seek to know and
apply the truth revealed in the Bible through spirit-anounted preaching, teaching,
and personal study. The bible is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching,
reproof, correction, and training in righteousness. The Bible is our final authority
for all we do. |
| Community
Influencing | God
has placed us in a community to display His character to influence its culture,
society, and lifestyle. |
| Servant
Leadership | By
following Jesus' model, we develop people to be biblical spiritual leaders in
their homes, workplaces, communities, and in our church. |
| Ministry | Under
the church leadership, every believer is called to minister. While we all minister
in different ways, together we build up the church for God's glory. Our church
is a fellowship that encourages people to hear God's calling for their lives.
We help believers find their place of ministry. |
| Excellence | All
that we do is done as our best, so to honor God. |
