Who is a Leader?

When
you think about it, any man or woman, boy or girl,
who has a heart after God is a leader. That heart
causes them to respond to God.
You
can respond to God in one of two ways. God had to
knock Paul down to get his attention (Acts 9:4), and
then Paul had to ask, "Who are you, Lord?"
On the other hand, Samuel responded simply to God
with, "Here am I, Lord."
Who
does God call to be a leader? Not perfect people,
but people through whom He can show the world His
strength.
In
1 Corinthians 12:9-10, the Bible says, "'My grace
is sufficient for thee; for My strength is made perfect
in weakness.' Most gladly therefore will I rather
glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ
may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities,
in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in
distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak,
then am I strong."
God
is looking for willing people. You may think that
the leaders are those on the platform, not those in
the pews. However, everyone is leading... by example,
by your life, by your encouragement. Look around you
and see who's following you: your children, your spouse,
your friends, and others. Now, look to see whom you
could lead according to the word of God.
In
all you do, do it all unto the glory of God.
